Solar pumps under PM KUSUM
Component B supports standalone solar agriculture pumps with central and state CFA (typically up to ~60% combined, with farmer share and optional loan). Component C focuses on solarising existing grid-connected agri pumps. Exact benefits depend on state tender / GEDA rules.
Decentralised plants (Component A)
Farmers and groups may set up small grid-connected plants on barren / fallow land (typically 500 kW–2 MW range under scheme design) and earn through power sale as per state DISCOM / GERC frameworks.
